yesterday went to watch karate kid ,

it was really awesome !

totally understand how the guy was feeling when he was moving from usa to china ,

tat was when jackie chan taught him kung fu .

really nice show ,

taught me a very valuable lesson .

when life brings us down ,

we have a choice to get back up .

through his determination .

he finally won the competition !

after movie went to watch mtdc concert

nice sound ,

enjoyed the concert especially dance fever .

gonna share my aem experiance with you guys today ,

went to temasek poly to do arts apreciation ,

at 1st i di not think much about as i did not really like art

but now i really enjoy art ,

it allows me to express myself ,

and learn about other artists lives ,

very cool , did painting ,

band yesterday was alright

went for lessons at tp ,

This few days was feeling quite down ,

Yesterday was alright :)

Went to ccps ( Canossa convent primary )

went to teach the horn section ..

petrina and pris was there as well !

so we took 1 each ..

and i somehow took the best 1 ..

while pris and pet were pulling their hair out teaching ,

was having some fun ^^

bought sweets for them ..

later they had combined ..

everything was ok

except the middle parts

horns and trombones .

no trombones came ..

making quite a big difference in the sound ..

played with them lion city festival

then packed up ..

went to eat dinner with pris , ghaz and khai

at popyes

very nice ^^

then went home ...

today ,

Hey people ..

ENCORE 2010

THE REVIVAL

happened yesterday 13 th march 2010 !

This band had waited for 10 years to have another encore !

and i was the blessed person to be the chairman of this concert !

let me tell u how the experience was !

3 months before this concert ,

started forming my committee ,

doing meetings, briefings and briefings

finally designs up , food and beverages are settled ,

a blink of an eye , it was the eve of encore ,

i was still in the music room ,

with a couple of people ,

counting tickets and serial number ,

13th march ..

morning , reported to school ,

planned everything with my vice chair , michelle .

everything was going well ,

had a little problems here and there

but as what i promised to mr li and myself .

no matter what happens , keep our cool ,

smile and be happy ,

seeing people pissed off and very kan qiong ,

some of u might think ,

what the hell the chairman is thinking ?

not being scared of screw ups at this time ?

but its to make things flow ,

and yes ! it did flow ,

learned how to keep my cool ,

so u can think more clearly ,

went to collect banner ,

then went into nafa

checked the dressing rooms ,

planned out ..

when people arrived ,

everyone put the chairs in very quickly as there was a rough stage plan done .

very well done !

then soon all checked in to their rooms ,

rehearse

loyang pri came ,

i took them to the side of stage ,

give them a little briefing ,

took them to their room ..

they set up and watched the Secondary sch rehearsed .

their turn ,

aft they were done ,

everyone was eating dinner ..

that was my break as well ,

taking the sec 1s to eat ,

then getting them to go in 1st ..

before people were allowed in ,

we had a mass photoshoot ..

awesome ,

and it was show time !

played overture no.1

this time i got it right !

saw sirs bright smile !

very happy ,

chorale was great !

then great movie marches ,

nicely done ,

left the intermediate band ,

played ,

i was dancing at the side and pri sch were getting ready ..

soon pri sch's turn ,

visigoths then pirates .

nice one as well ..

interval ,

primary school left

i was getting ready to be the emcee for the second half ,

alumni played ..

soon it was combined ..

then michael jackson's hits with dances ..

its was really great !

then school song was abit ______ but nvm !

was enjoying !!

really happy to work with him !

it is really an honor to work with him !

Today morning ..

went for road race ..

very tiring but fun !

although this year did not managed to win but its okay !

i still enjoyed it ..

went to tm to eat ..

then left with bryan ..

went to find janson n darren

then , went to my hse to play ..

played monopoly deal until addicted ..

went for band ..

then did the pieces with them ..

it was our turn to perform ..

played concerto .

the students started to move towards the band ,

very awesome performance ..

phrasing , clarity as good .

but we must not be complacent ,

encore is drawing near ..

we all can do it ! ..

played heal the world , audience were singing along ,

really very very fun !

smoke on the water was conducted by a student ..

well done people ..

buffet was alrights ..

then aft that slacked ..

so that was my day today !! .

sometimes , its not that i don't want to care , its that .. my world was almost upside down ..

and there was so many things for me to sort out .. so i did not have much energy to talk .

Yesterday and today has taught me a big lesson ..
Thanks collin , kenny , ghaz and khai for the advise ..
Being a leader is easy .
But being a good leader , is harder than anyone of us think ,.
including me.
whats the point of getting the job done and not having a good relationship with ur fellow bandmates ?
after all we are still human . we all have feelings ..
so from today onwards ,
i will change my attitude towards anything i do ..
and i am sorry for the past things that i have done .
example being harsh to my fellow band mates ..
really sorry ..
its a very good lesson learnt ..
i am a leader .
but i am not a good leader . ( yet )
but one day i will be there , not alone .
but together as a band .
because we are one ..

1st wk of school is quite ok !

starting to get used to life in school ..

morning went to school at 6.45

warm up tune up ..

everything was done before 7.40

so band members decided to stone in the hall ..

relax abit ..

soon other ccas came in as well ..

waited for sec 1s and their parents to come

when they all came ,

vp started her speech ,

then it was the mini concert

Band was the 1st ..

so i conducted for respect ..

played quite nicely ..

then i became the emcee for concert ,

getting ready the choir

choir was without conductor so bryan had to had conduct

Meanwhile Band was playing party rock conducted by wenyi ..

haha!

band finished playing

choir started their performance .

then it was guitar ,

guzheng ,

anklung,

drama

then dance

then band decided to do what we always do ,

play when they are going out ..

hahahas ..

then packed everything ,

everyone went to the booth with 1 instrument per section ..

idk what happened cca war started ..

ppl keep shouting n shouting join choir ! join drama !

so band ,

and keep shouting ,

attracted alot of people to try our instruments ..

Today is the last day of holiday !

well ..

holidays this year are so fun and exciting !

quite sad though ..
